Imagine someone could learn about you only by looking through your trash can. What three items might they find in your trash today, and what would each item reveal about your personality, habits, interests, or life right now?

 They would find lots of plastic bits and pieces and other craft things that are thrown away because I am working on some creative projects, such as scale models and repairing things. These need a lot of organizing which I do as I go through the project and clean up, I’m quite messy. Then, they would find a crumpled up piece of notebook paper with every last inch of it covered in physics and math work since I have a lot of it right now and there’s nothing I need to keep from that. Finally, a toothpaste tube that’s been squeezed completely because I’ve been rushing to get out of the house in the morning and I just end up squeezing the life out of the tube to get as much out in the 2 minutes I have to get ready.

Today we worked on our 3 things, I have the songs version.

The assignment was pretty easy since I listen to a lot of music. Linking it to Elizabeth’s life was a bit trickier but doable, since there are so many songs out there but little is known about Elizabeth so it definitely requires some thought.

Write about a time that you felt connected to nature, like the kinship in Native American myths.

Prompt:      Like many, I've been in nature too many times to count growing up, whether through travel, camping, or just being in my backyard. But one time that stands out is when we visited Tennessee, including the Smoky Mountains. We took an ATV adventure tour. After riding up and around a part of the mountain for about an hour, we quickly slowed down and stopped at the peak of the range we were in. Once I got off and took off my helmet, everything was so quiet and peaceful, especially considering the noise of the engine I had been hearing for a while. There, I could admire the grand view of the mountains all around and in the distance. I could here the birds, squirrels, and other animals here and there, and the haze that the mountains were known for lingering in the distance. 3 things I want to achieve this year - 2026.

 This year as a junior at Lakeside High - the first thing I want to achieve is getting all A's in my classes. I haven't gotten a B yet and after seeing people getting the award for all A's at the honor ceremony last year, I am striving to do the same. For me, this also includes getting 4's, if not 5's on my AP exams. 2nd, I want to have a successful lacrosse season when it starts. Finally, I want to develop a really good habit of studying and prepare for college entrance things, SAT's, applications, and maybe figure out what I want to major in. I still procrastinate a lot for no reason, and I'd like to fix this because it will be hurtful as I move on.
